Fight The Smears: Flag On Barack Obama’s Campaign Plane

Barack Obama has been attacked for not having an American Flag on his campaign airplane.
Truth:
Barack Obama does indeed have an American flag displayed on the outside of this campaign airplane.
Some manipulations of this attack claim that Barack Obama doesn’t have the American flag displayed on the tail of his airplane. You can also see below that both the McCain and Obama campaign planes have flags on their planes in almost the same spot and campaign logos on the tale of the plane.

Yes! You are correct. The correction is also posted on my wordpress space now. I also managed to find a picture in my daily newspaper that shows Obama giving respect to our American Flag. I just posted it…hopefully it will discredit that other picture running around the internet leading Americans to believe that Obama refuses to respect Old Glory.
The reason the flag was removed is because the plane was originally leased from North American Airlines. When Obama became the official democratic presidential nominee, they overhauled the plane. The flags were removed as well as the “North American” name on the side because it is all trademarked (yes, the flags on the tail and fuselage are trademarks of North American Airlines). Go to their website and you will notice what I am talking about.
