The flags were removed as well as the "North American" name on the side because it is all trademarked (yes, the flags on the tail and fuselage are trademarks of North American Airlines). You are correct. The correction is also posted on my wordpress space now. I also managed to find a picture in my daily newspaper that shows Obama giving respect to our American Flag.
